PO17 LED CONSTRUCTION has a particularly narrow and ultra-flat design, is designed for LED flexible strips with a maximum width of 11 mm and is universally used indoors.

LED profile covers opal/satin (light transmission 65%) and picks (light transmission 85%) are made of shatter-resistant and flame-retardant polycarbonate (flammability classification UL94 V-2) and create homogeneous LED lighting conditions with high utilization of light. output.

The profile of the PO17 LED STRUCTURE is extremely flat and therefore blends in very well with the surrounding conditions. Due to its small dimensions and light weight, it is suitable as an ideal LED light source for residential and office spaces, retail and hotel/catering sectors, among others.

Quick and easy installation
Self-adhesive LED strips are inserted into the center of the groove in the LED profile, glued in place, wired (plastic end caps with cable bushing available) and connected to the LED lighting and control technology (LED transformer, LED sequencer, etc.). The LED profile can be connected directly to the support object or building structure (screwed or glued). LED light strips can also be attached to smooth surfaces with double-sided adhesive tape. Finally, the corresponding polycarbonate LED profile covers are clicked.

Recommendation:
For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and degreasing the inside of the profile with an acetone cleaner.

Use in wet rooms and outdoor conditions
Use in wet rooms or outdoor conditions is possible only in closed form. Silicone, which is applied to the joints to seal, offers special protection against moisture and water. Absolute water resistance is achieved with LED profile systems by casting with Wepuran casting resin based on polyurethane resin (PUR).

Important:
When installing LED profile systems in wet rooms and outdoor conditions, it is essential to use only LED flexible strips with the corresponding protection class! GALAXY® profile linear LED outdoor lights meet these requirements as standard. We’re happy to help!

From the corresponding minimum purchase quantity, our standard range of LED profiles and plastic covers are made to measure or manufactured to a customer-specific length specification up to a maximum total length of 6m per LED profile system.

On request, LED aluminum profiles from GALAXY® profiles can be made in all RAL colors (powder coating).
