Homogeneous light with modular LED lighting solutions from GALAXY® profiles
Intelligent product design and unique product compatibility are the basis of future-oriented LED lighting concepts. LED profile systems of GALAXY® profiles are modular LED lighting solutions. The individual components of the system are assembled with little effort, easily and quickly, using the click system, and are installed in a way that protects the substance.

The PO16 LED INSTALLATION/CONSTRUCTION profile has a standard length of 200 cm and is made of high-quality aluminum (anodized). It has a thin and flat design and is specially designed to integrate into furniture. Of course, PO16 can also be attached to ceilings and walls as a built-in or surface profile (mounting brackets available).
The ALU profile is completely covered from above with a flat standard profile cover made of shatterproof and flame retardant polycarbonate (flammability classification UL94 V-2 – opal/satin finish – light transmission 65%). LED flexible strips with a maximum width of 8 mm can be glued inside.

The coating covers the aluminum of the profiles – you only see the light line! The result is homogeneous light conditions and high utilization of light power!
Recommendation
For excellent adhesion of the self-adhesive LED strips, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and degreasing the inside of the profile with a cleaning agent – see accessories.
Important NOTE.
Use in wet rooms or outdoors is possible only in closed form. Silicone, which is applied to the joints to seal, offers special protection against moisture and water. With LED profile systems, absolute water resistance can be achieved by casting with Wepuran casting resin based on polyurethane resin (PUR).
When choosing a flexible LED strip, pay attention to the protection class specified by the manufacturer (at least IP65).
Packaging and Standard Custom Made Products (OEM)
From the corresponding minimum purchase quantity, our standard range of LED profiles and plastic covers are made to measure or produced according to customer-specific lengths up to a maximum total length of 6 m per LED profile system.
On request, LED aluminum profiles can be made from GALAXY® profiles in any RAL color (powder coating).
